Nem nướng Đà Lạt
Nem nướng means grilled nem, here made as seasoned pork logs cooked on skewers. In Đà Lạt, it is commonly served as a hands-on platter: rice paper, lettuce and herbs, crisp cucumber, pickled vegetables and a rich dip come to the table with the hot pork. Diners make their own rolls as they eat.
Regional nem nướng styles and restaurant sauces differ. Ninh Hòa and Khánh Hòa have their own strong traditions, while this practical home version follows the Đà Lạt platter format. The quick peanut-and-hoisin sauce is a convenient adaptation, not a claim about one definitive local formula; some restaurant sauces use fermented soy or a slowly cooked, broth-based mixture.
