Paris used to be the best city for students, but it was replaced by Montreal.
Montreal was named the best city for students, after a five-year leadership of Paris on that list.
The list compiled by QS Quacquarelli Symonds is the result of an analysis of 100 urban student destinations in the world.
Montreal is “a city emerging from a period of economic stagnation,” and was recently named “the most intelligent city in the world.” Montreal is located in the French-speaking area of Canada. This year marks the 375th birthday with a series of celebrations.
Several criteria are used when compiling the list, so that the quality assessments of the university, the desirability of the destination, the activity of the employers, the prices and the student experience are taken into account.
