Naivasha is a market town in Kenya’s Nakuru County, located north of Nairobi. The town has a population of 181,966 people (2009 census).

Agriculture, particularly floriculture, is the primary industry.

Much of the discussions for the Comprehensive Peace Agreement ending the Second Sudanese Civil War, sometimes known as the “Naivasha Agreement,” took place in a resort in Naivasha.

Naivasha is a well-known tourist site as well. Things to see & do in Naivasha

Lake Naivasha is a magnificent freshwater lake located at 1,890 meters above sea level in the Kenyan Rift Valley. For Nairobi residents, it’s a favourite weekend retreat.
Outside of town, south of Lake Naivasha, is Hell’s Gate National Park.
See the birds and hippos on a boat excursion on Lake Naivasha.
See zebra, gazelle, and warthogs while biking through Hell’s Gate National Park.
Hike down the Ol Njorowa Gorge and through it. At the gorge’s entrance, you may hire a local guide. Prepare to get a bit dirty by wearing hiking shoes.
