Description
The 36-hole, PGA-standard Tan Son Nhat Golf Course was created by Nelson & Haworth Golf Course Architects, one of the world’s foremost golf course architects. The golf course is near to Tan Son Nhat International Airport and is the first golf course to be “built” in the urban region of Ho Chi Minh City.
The golf course is organized into four courses labeled A-B-C-D, each with nine holes, par-36, and the following lengths: Course A measures 3,729 yards, Course B measures 3,620 yards, Course C measures 3,747 yards, and Course D measures 3,619 yards.
The golf course officially opened in August of 2015 with a complete complement of luxurious amenities, including night games. With the tagline “New destination – New value,” Tan Son Nhat Golf Course not only focuses on equipment, but also on building up well-trained staffs to provide the best customer service in numerous activities, such as tournament and event organization.
The clubhouse at Tan Son Nhat is one of the largest in Asia and can host up to 5,000 guests for banquets, marriages, and other official ceremonies in addition to golfers. Several on-site eateries offer reasonably priced Vietnamese, Korean, Japanese, and Western cuisines.
Night golf is one of the interesting attractions of Tan Son Nhat. Play continues until midnight and may be an useful way to settle wagers or an alternative to the nightlife in Saigon.
Other outstanding amenities include a pro shop, driving range, chipping and putting sections, locker rooms, and changing rooms. The Vietnamese Ministry of Defense oversees the operations of Tan Son Nhat Golf Club. Although golf carts are required and restricted to cart pathways only, costs are modest and golfers can wander the fairways while caddies drive.
