Description

The Dalat at 1200 Golf Course is simply a short drive from Dalat International Airport (approximately 15 minutes) via a couple mountain valleys with a lake scene. It occasionally reminds me of golf course elements in Switzerland rather than those in Central Vietnam.

The entire region is part of a complex that includes sophisticated lodging, sports facilities, and an amazing golf course. While the first nine holes have been in play for ten years, the next nine are new to golfers and were only opened a few years ago. Although this remarkable two-nines course was designed by Peter Rousseau and Kyi Hua Han, legend Grahame Harris contributed greatly to the stunning growth of Dalat at 1200.

Because of its enabling conditions, the later completed course was a huge success for the Korean Ladies PGA (KLPGA) in 2015. The course, in particular, displayed beautifully, thanks to effective bentgrass greens and the colder mountain temperature.

The first four holes at Dalat 1200 are extremely well-designed for dramatic play. From the start, players may expect to experience both spectacular and tough aspects. Elevated tees, rocky and flowing creeks, white sand bunkers, and tiered greens are all designed to make the game more difficult. When it comes to such an adventure in a golf game, such design provides golfers with a variety of superior starting sequences.

When it comes to the middle of the round, golfers may notice that things have quieted down a little, but there are still unforeseen difficulties waiting for them to confront.

The first par four hole begins with a long downhill from the elevated tee and a brook in front of the green. The hole allows you to photograph the rice paddies and streams that go along the front nine.

The second hole is a par 5 with a 600-yard drop-down to an interesting green complex flanked by rocky streams and Mackenzie-style bunkers. Long hitters are necessary to complete this difficult hole.

Then you arrive to the famous par 3 number 3, which is titled the “Best PAR 3 hole in Vietnam”. Because this par 3 course has an average length drop shot, players must climb pretty far from the tee before losing air. The OB via woodland region needs a re-entry unless the golf ball is properly hit.

The fourth par four is a lengthier downhill hole with Augusta-style bunkers, Mc Kenzie bunkers, and additional water.

The Dalat at 1200 Country Club then takes you to an old tree that overshadows the tee shot, making the par 5 seventh hole highly exciting. The 7th hole is a more challenging challenge for any player, with strategically placed bunkers, trees, and water. PAR is an excellent choice in this case.

Despite its small length, Hole 8 is very noteworthy (par 3, 186 yards). It begins with an elevated tee and progresses to what is essentially a green island. For a little wind, this game might be a toughened test for anyone, so be careful!

Another incredible challenge is hole 15, which plays from the hills and features another high tee. This short and easily drivable par 4 will take you to a big flat green flanked by severe drop-offs.

Then, in hole 16, a short par 3 with water carry all the way is set, leaving no room for error.
The rare air of hole 17 is the condition of Dalat’s second spectacular par 5 at 1200.

In general, the four opening and closing holes are well-placed on the slopes of two separate valleys – these holes make your round unforgettable – but holes like 7 and 8 maintain the standard throughout the round.

With the arrival of facilities, golfers will access local services after finishing their round of golf. The Dalat 1200 is a superb course that ranks among the top golf courses in Asia.

Furthermore, The Dàlat at 1200 Country Club is located in the middle highlands, which results in chilly temperatures that should be addressed while intending to play here. Specifically, the weather is milder than in other parts of Vietnam. Lower humidity brings temps in the 20s from November to May.
