Description

Royal Island Golf & Villas (or commonly known as Mekong Golf Course) is an FDI project planned in Binh Duong Province, approximately 40 kilometers from Ho Chi Minh City. Nan Feng International of Taiwan invested in and built the course, as did San Yang Golf Course of China, which has more than 20 years of experience in golf course building. Royal Island is a 54-hole golf course project that has opened the first 18 holes and is currently in the planning stages for PGA tours. Royal Island Golf, which first opened its doors in 2012, has 18 holes of par 72 that span approximately 6656 yards.

Royal Island Golf has attracted a huge number of golfers throughout the years by taking use of the geographical advantage of the surrounding spectacular nature. It is a perfect site for visitors and golfers to experience the high quality of the green environment here, as it is isolated from the busy city and formed by the Dong Nai river. Royal Island Golf provides players with high-quality playing conditions while also providing magnificent river vistas that will touch your soul.

Starting with the first par 5, the course is mostly free of hazards, with a small lake cutting between the two fairways. The green on the first hole is guarded by two bunkers on both sides. Then there’s the par-4 second hole, which is bordered on the right by a lengthy lake. A straight shot is required to take the ball across a tiny section of the lake near the tee box. Hole 3 Par 4 is a challenging hole with a small fairway and water on both sides. The fourth par three hole is a double dogleg to the right with a tight fairway surrounded by water. The 5th hole is unique in that it has mostly water, necessitating an accurate shot to get over it. The teeing ground and putting area of this Royal Island Golf & Villas hole are separated by water in the form of two small islands. The sixth hole is a dogleg to the right with three bunkers protecting the green.

The 9th, 10th, and 11th holes demand generally straight drives to the green. The 15th hole is a dogleg par 4 that requires a tee shot to land beside two bunkers on the fairway’s left side. Then, if golfers can reach the green through a very tight fairway, a well-calculated shot will reward them. Again, with both tee-off locations and the putting green surrounded by water but no bunkers, hole 16th offers a gorgeous par 4 for golfers to enjoy their shots. Finally, the final par four is an L-shaped dogleg to the left with water running the length of the hole. Golfers must hit a straight drive to bridge the tiny stream in front of them. A big bunker guards the right side of the fairway, and another guards the green on the left.

When visiting Royal Island Golf Club Vietnam, golfers may get every necessary golfing as well as relaxation service. They have a professional caddy crew that is always willing to assist you with your rounds. Furthermore, rental services for carts, lawn mats, shoes, and other items are constantly available. A wide driving range, which allows golfers to have such enjoyable practice strokes, is another benefit of the service. Last but not least, the Royal Island Golf international level restaurant is a hidden gem where you can enjoy great dining after your golfing rounds, with a variety of items on their menu.

The course is located in Binh Duong province, about 40 kilometers from Ho Chi Minh City, and it takes around an hour to get there by automobile. With this distance, it is quite handy for city residents or inhabitants from surrounding areas to come for weekend amusement and leisure.
