Description

The Vinpearl Golf Club is a 27-hole IMG-designed facility on the island of Phu Quoc. The flattish course, which meandered through streams and over reservoirs, was carved out of 1,000 hectares of old hardwood forests. Paspalum grass was utilized across the course, resulting in good playing conditions and medium-speed greens.

Phu Quoc Golf, designed by IMG, a well-known organization in golf course design, is regarded as an outstanding golf destination due to the natural beauty of the area. The course itself is a 27-hole par 36/36/36 layout that spans 3725/3521/3582 yards and is named after renowned locales in Vietnam (Nha Trang, Phu Quoc and Quy Nhon). Each course is distinguished by lush greenery, breathtaking environment, tricky undulating greens and hazards, and a variety of levels of difficulty. Furthermore, the strong wind flow from the ocean is a major challenge for even the most experienced golfers, but it is also an interesting experience of Phu Quoc’s natural beauty.

Vinpearl Golf Club Phu Quoc, surrounded by gorgeous woods, offers all that a tropical paradise has to offer in terms of landscape. The Paspalum grass that covers the bending fairways not only adds freshness and eye-catching green to the course, but it also provides superb golfing conditions. Golfers can enjoy their rounds at Vinpearl Phu Quoc Golf Club while being presented with exquisite views of the forest and the magnificent East Sea. Furthermore, its stunning environment, rolling fairways, and unending lines of trees twisting and undulating with the contours of lakes make it deserving of a spot on any golfer’s bucket list.

The Vinpearl Phu Quoc Golf Club features three nine-hole loops: Nha Trang, Phu Quoc, and Quy Nhon. The holes on Nha Trang and Phu Quoc are largely concealed and weaved through the vegetation, whereas those on Quy Nhon are more visible and curving around numerous large lakes.

On the first 9 holes of the Phu Quoc circuit, a well-placed tee shot allows you a short iron into the green and a fantastic possibility for birdie scores. The trademark par-3 3rd island hole on the Phu Quoc course is a difficult one since it is surrounded mostly by water and requires a very accurate tee shot. Furthermore, the wind on this hole must be considered in order to make the best shot. After a downhill tee shot across a spacious landing area with water on both sides on hole 5, you will face a difficult uphill tee shot to a fairway curved by the trees. Following that, the par-3 hole 8 with a green guarded by a big bunker on the front left is ideal for a right-to-left approach.

When it comes to the mountain view course, the first hole is a straightaway par 4 covered by two gigantic bunkers and two massive trees. Hole 3 remains a difficult hole on this layout, with a tee shot that requires a hard left flight. Then, at hole 5, which is a small dogleg from left to right, you’ll require a difficult uphill tee shot. Following that is another difficult uphill shot par-3 with water hazards strongly guarded on the right side of the course and a big bunker.

The golf club has a compact clubhouse, a well-stocked pro shop, and roomy, stylish locker rooms. There are also practice areas, such as driving ranges and putting greens, where golfers can spend time practicing before the game. Furthermore, Vinpearl Golf Club Phu Quoc offers a variety of high-end accommodations such as guest rooms and big villas with private balconies and spectacular panoramic ocean views, as well as gardens and pools on occasion. Last but not least, the Vinpearl Phu Quoc Golf Club restaurant and bar are great places to unwind after a round of golf and enjoy high-quality Vietnamese and Western cuisine.

The service is great, the caddies are well-trained, and the majority of the staff speaks excellent English, ensuring a delightful day at Vinpearl Phu Quoc golf.
