Description

Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism encompasses a total area of over 1,500ha with 7 functional areas, of which the 200ha ethnic village area has the terrain of hills, mountains, valleys, and lakes interwoven with the traditional village models of ethnic groups to recreate the natural and cultural landscapes of four clusters of villages in Viet Nam. It is part of the Dong Mo tourist region in Son Tay, Hanoi, a 40-kilometer-from-Hanoi cultural-tourism town with a diverse mountainous environment along quiet valleys and lakes.

The Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism is the ideal location for exploration, travel, and education regarding the culture of Vietnamese ethnic groups. In order to introduce, preserve, and develop the traditional cultural values of 54 Vietnamese ethnic communities, the land of ethnic villages was split into zones of hamlet structures, village rebuilding, and folk architecture. The Village consists of four small hamlets belonging to different districts where locals reside.
