Viet Xo Friendship Labour Cultural Palace

The Viet Xo Friendship Labour Cultural Palace, located at 91 Tran Hung Dao Street in the Hoan Kiem District of Hanoi, Vietnam, is an architectural and cultural work for artistic performances and scholarly conferences.

On the old foundation of the Hanoi Arena (destroyed by bombs during the Second World War), construction began on January 1, 1978, and was finished on September 1, 1985.

Soviet architect G. G. Isakovich designed the structure. On an area of 3,2 hectares, the cultural palace comprises three main blocks: the performance house, the academic house, and the technical house… with a total of 120 rooms. The performance hall is the largest structure, with four floors, 33 meters in height, 96 meters in length, and 60 meters in width. Behind is a three-story learning home with a library and regular themed club rooms.
