Sea Links Golf & Country Club, Vietnam’s first links golf course, is well worth a visit and pleasure of the most fantastic golfing experience. The course, designed by Ronald Fream and Golfplan Company, is an 18-hole par 72 that stretches across 7617 yards (from the black tee) over a dune. It encompasses a wide area of 160 hectares and has been designed to preserve most of the native terrain of white dunes. Sea Links Golf overlooks the ocean and offers panoramic views of Mui Ne Bay, making it an ideal location for golfers to enjoy both the most pleasurable rounds of golf and sightseeing. The majority of the holes overlook the sea, providing golfers with not only a golfing experience but also views of the beautiful undulating sand dunes.

The course at Sea Links Golf and Country Club includes 5 tees rather than 4, making it significantly more difficult for golfers, particularly those who are new to the game. Ordinary golfers should focus on playing standard tees – 6,670 yards for males, 5,482 yards for ladies. Ordinary players struggle to perform well since the course is 7,770 yards long from the back tees. Sea Links Golf has earned a famous reputation as one of the “Most Challenging 18-Hole Golf Courses in Asia” due to its unique design. Massive undulations may be found on the greens and fairways, ready to challenge even the best golfers. The problem here is that you’d be hard pressed to locate a fairway that wasn’t severely cut. Furthermore, because of the nonstop rising greens, there is no easy flat lie for you to have an uncomplicated club. Strong wind flows caused by the altitude of 80m above sea level are also a significant challenge for even the most accomplished golfers. The backdrop of the ocean from every point on the course, on the other hand, may act as compensation for all of that.

Water runs along the left side of the par-3 third hole, and two massive bunkers guard the back and front of the greens. The fourth hole is a dogleg par four that has two fairway bunkers. The par-4 5th hole will be difficult because there are two large bunkers protecting the green, necessitating extra attempts. You then proceed to the 6th par 5 with a lake in the center of a split fairway, where you must make a more calculated decision on which side to take the shot because each side has different advantages and disadvantages. To complete the first nine holes, play to the right of the fairway bunkers, followed by a challenging approach to a tight green flanked by two massive bunkers.

If you stay to the left of the fairway on the 13th hole, it may be a scoring hole, otherwise it is out of reach even with a pro club. The par-3 14th hole is 220 yards from the back tees and features massive bunkers on both sides of the green. Then there’s the 15th par 4, which has a small green with water in front and a bunker in back. This is a challenging but rewarding hole. The par 5 final hole will be challenging because to the twists and turns and bunkers on the left. There is additional water on the right and a final approach to a very narrow green guarded on both sides by bunkers.
