Chau Duc Golf Course

Greg Norman built the Chau Duc Sonadezi Golf Course (Sonadezi Vung Tau) near the tourist town of Vung Tau. The golf course is placed in a stunning natural environment as part of a 2,287-hectare urban industrial park with moderate year-round temperatures and mild breezes.

Sonadezi Golf Course is generally level terrain, with high and low points running throughout the course from north to south, creating natural obstacles that increase the difficulty of each hole. Many holes are framed by trees, making play both entertaining and hard. Sonadezi’s compact flattish configuration makes it ideal for international golf events.

The idea plans for two 18-hole courses with varying designs and levels of difficulty. The Resort Course is designed in the shape of an oval and is turfed with Paspalum grass. Later in the project, a more tougher Tournament Course is envisaged.

A huge clubhouse gives space and a panoramic view of the golf course. The on-site restaurant offers a comprehensive selection including golfer favorites, Vietnamese specialties, and worldwide food. The pro store also includes golf supply, rental equipment, and branded souvenirs for visiting golfers. The locker rooms are modern and tidy, with a leisure area after golf. Chipping and putting greens are available at Sonadezi.
