AlBahie Auction House

AlBahie Auction House is the first auction house of its kind in Qatar. AlBahie seeks to position itself as a leader in the region for the sale of Antiques, Fine Arts, Jewelry and Watches, as well as Carpets. AlBahie’s inaugural auction took place on the 5th of April 2016. The auction was first in a regular schedule of bi-annual auctions, featuring an impressive breadth of Islamic, Middle Eastern and Orientalist work, including Modern and Contemporary Art from the region, Fine Furniture, Jewelry and Watches, Decorative Arts and Orientalist Carpets and Rugs. The auction house displays all works from its auctions in its permanent location at Katara Cultural Village. Print catalogues are produced for each auction and the auction house encourages bidding in four ways, in person, online, by telephone and absentee bids.
