5/6 Park

The 5/6 Park is situated in an excellent position in Onaiza, Doha, surrounded by well-known tourist attractions such as Katara, Lusail, and West Bay Beach. This park has verdant greenery, playgrounds, prayer rooms, a fitness/exercise equipment area, flowers designed to imitate the Qatari flag, hills, breathtaking lighting, wall art, and art installations. Additionally, pets are welcome at the park.

The Park contains a 5-meter-high hill with a ‘observatory area’ from where you can take in breathtaking views of the Doha skyline and the green labyrinth in the shape of the Qatari map. The park’s focal point is a green maze in the shape of a map of Qatar, which is interesting to both children and adults. The entrances and exits are named after locales along the coast of Qatar, making the maze particularly intriguing. Elegant illumination highlights the glowing maze at night.

To promote health and fitness, the park contains cushioned playgrounds, a fitness/exercise area with equipment, cycling and jogging routes, and a stone and sand walk. On one side of the park, prayer rooms and bathrooms for men and women are situated in unique green cube-shaped structures. The art at 5/6 park consists of installations and wall art.

There are enough parking spaces, and the Al Qassar Metro station (Red line) is within walking distance of the park. According to the park guidelines, the 5/6 park opens at 6:00 a.m. and the green labyrinth can be enjoyed until 7:00 p.m. Both children and adults will find enjoyment at the park. The Ministry of Municipality and Environment guarantees that all parks are impeccably maintained, surrounded by flowering trees, and equipped with pleasant walks, jogging tracks, and bicycle lanes.
