The National Museum of Archaeology in Mother Teresa Square was established in 1948 and has an extensive collection of archaeological research and discoveries from Albania. The displays cover prehistory, antiquity, the middle ages, and the twentieth century, providing an overview of the historical richness of the nation.

The National Art Gallery is the most prestigious gallery in Albania, having one of the most extensive collections of artworks in the area. It is located on Dshmort e Kombit Boulevard and has over 4,500 pieces of art, including the most significant collection of nineteenth- and twentieth-century Albanian art.

The Bunk’art Museum in Tirana comprises of two subterranean bunkers constructed under the communist government under the leadership of Enver Hoxha. The Museum of Secret Surveillance was established in 2017 and is located in a palace from the twentieth century, the House of Leaves, near the Dshmort e Kombit Boulevard.
