Museum Mezuraj

This museum is situated on Kavaja Street, near to the city center. The Mezuraj Museum has a personality that encompasses all of the elements of a fundamental collection. The Archeological collection is vast and diversified, having been assembled in a very short period of time for legal and notarized sale.

Sculpture is another creative component of the Mezuraj museum, which is conspicuously filled with the collection of Albanian sculptor Adnan Bushati. In addition to stone, there are wood sculptures. 20 wooden sculptures portray anthropomorphic characters, usually one or two people intertwined in the abstraction idea.

Over 3500 works by Mezuraj are included in the collection. The Mezuraj collection’s first fund includes approximately 500 voices of outstanding quality and uniqueness.
