Description

Wat Chantaransay, the earliest Khmer temple in Ho Chi Minh City, was built in 1946. A temple is an important site for Khmer people to practice their culture and religion. The temple inside is created with a visual depiction of Jataka stories relating to Gautam Buddha’s births and rebirths before to his attainment of Nirvana. A visit to the temple would be an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in learning more about the Khmer culture and religion in Vietnam.
