Description

Ha Chong Hoi Quan Pagoda is a Taoist shrine constructed in the 19th century to honor Thien Hau, the Goddess of the Sea. The temple, which has elaborate bas-reliefs and stone pillars carved with fearsome dragons, was built by a community of migrating Fujians. The greatest time to visit the temple is during the lantern festival, which takes place on the first full moon of the lunar year.
