Binh Quoi Village
Description
The Binh Quoi Tourist Village is a tourist destination in Ho Chi Minh City’s Binh Thanh District in southern Vietnam.
The Tourist Village encompasses both of the Binh Quoi Tourist Area’s sections. The Vietnamese government constructed the Binh Quoi Tourist Area I between 1975 and 1976, the Binh Quoi Tourist Area II between 1979 and 1980, and the Tourist Village in 1994. The Tourist Village is located on the Thanh Da peninsula on the Saigon River, about 8 kilometers (20 to 30 minutes by car, depending on traffic) from the city center.
The Tourist Village is situated on verdant grounds with lawns, coconut trees, creeks, and thatched cottages, evoking a bygone era in the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam. Rich, traditional southern Vietnamese cuisine is served there, and Bach Dang Harbor is home to a floating restaurant with 700 seats on three levels.
The cultural spectacle features a typical Vietnamese wedding, complete with a bridal procession on the lake, ceremonies, and dances.
Binh Quoi 1
The Binh Quoi 1 is the most popular location in Binh Quoi Village, featuring a 300-seat restaurant, the “Khan Hoang Nam Bo” Buffet with hundreds of delectable local specialties, Don Ca Tai Tu, etc. Here, Hoi Ngo’s Assembly Hall is used for a variety of artistic endeavors, including painting, sculpture, and introducing music events for renowned artists. The family resort is surrounded by a campus of grass and vegetation. Attracting tourists is the garden’s 7,000-square-meter grass carpet, which is perfect for filming, photographing, picnicking, organizing games, group activities, sailing, fishing, and so forth. In addition, Binh Quoi 1 is the site of numerous cultural events, including the My Rice Grain Festival, the program Discovering Vietnamese Folk Culture and Cuisine, the Christmas Gala Dinner, and the Southern Land Festival.
Binh Quoi 2
The Binh Quoi 2 has a total area of 25,380 square meters and offers a variety of services, including a buffet area with more than 70 seafood dishes, a riverfront restaurant with traditional specialties, large conference rooms outfitted with the latest technology, and 40 bungalows with full amenities hidden in a tranquil area surrounded by coconut trees. It can also be used to organize festivals, birthday parties, marriages, events, and conferences.
