Gondolania Theme Park

The Gondolania Theme Park is Doha’s newest and largest family entertainment attraction! It is housed in Villaggio Mall and has an Olympic-size ice skating rink, a Venezian-inspired Gondola Boat Ride, and the highly awaited Gondolania Entertainment City, which will be Doha’s largest theme park, with everything from roller coasters to kiddie attractions.

Only in Gondolania can you find the classic Ferris Wheel, Carousel, Bumper Cars, Horror Street Drive Dark ride, and a state-of-the-art Go Kart Racing, 12-lane Bowling- (designed by Pininfarina- the world famous car designer), a 4D Theater, as well as the latest video/simulation game and prize/ redemption machines. We also have world-class restaurants, cafes, and a food hall with a variety of culinary outlets.

There are also goods shops and kiosks located throughout the theme park. Gondolania offers sheer thrill as well as different leisure and entertainment options for children and the entire family since FUN never stops at Gondolania!

The Grand Opening was publicly unveiled on April 7 – 9, 2011, and thousands of people from all across Qatar attended the 3-Day Spectacle. The 22,000 square meter park had a year of soft openings because only some of the attractions were ready. Qataris have been allowed to utilize each piece when it became accessible. Gondolania is officially open for business. All rides and activities are now ready to delight visitors of all ages.

The amazing roller coaster’s unique sound and light spectacle, which is coordinated with the ride, was introduced. During the three-minute trip, a variety of sound and light performances will take place, creating a stunning atmosphere across the park. This is the first time a theme park in the region has tried a presentation of this kind.

Gondolania is called after the Villaggio Mall watercanal’s Venetian Boat (Gondola) motif. The indoor park has a wide range of rides and attractions, including a spinning roller coaster that takes passengers almost to the roof before dropping them 19 meters underneath. Another big draw is the country’s first 4D theater, which provides a genuinely realistic movie experience with air-driven servo motion chairs and unique effects such as front air blasts, front water spray, neck and leg ticklers, and vibrating seats. The amusement park also has a Bowling Alley, a Go-kart circuit, a Drop Tower, Bumper Cars, a Carousel, a Ferris Wheel, a Kiddie Train, and party rooms.
