- Dung Quyet Mountain – Dung Quyet mountain is the principal path, some five kilometers from Vinh city center, and that can be reached by motorbike or bicycle for skilled riders. If you start at the bottom and walk to the top, it takes slightly over 400 steps. At its summit lies King’s tomb of Quang Trung as well as other cafes, restaurants, even hotels! Through mist you can see magnificent scenery of Lam River below offering a tranquil alternative to life in the city which attracts both residents and tourists alike with its splendid views. - Huong Tich Pagoda – According to the story, at some point during the 13th century, it was constructed like a royal getaway and after being razed by fire in the following 500 years. For individuals that visit this area, a restored Buddhist temple is definitely worth seeing. Its serene location makes it an ideal site for experiencing Vinh’s spiritualism and historical cultural artifacts.
- Xo Viet Nghe Tinh Museum – This museum is dedicated to remembering the Vietnamese struggle against French colonialists and is located on the site of a prison where thousands of Vietnamese soldiers were kept from 1929 to 1937. The museum displays images and objects such as weapons and personal belongings that help visitors comprehend the insurrection through the eyes of ordinary Vietnamese people.
