Taka Plaza is a market-style shopping center in District 1 that is tucked away inside a city block. Again, it’s mostly apparel and fashion accessories, some of which are genuine branded items and others of which are doubtful.
Taka Plaza blends contemporary shopping with a traditional market, so customers are allowed to haggle over product prices. Taka Plaza contains roughly 200 kiosks selling clothing, shoes, jewelry, accessories, souvenirs, and other crafts made of wood, pottery, brocades, silk, and other fine arts goods.
Many products are imported from China, Hong Kong, Singapore, and South Korea, in addition to Vietnamese products. It is not a high-end market, with clothing costs ranging from 80,000 VND to 350,000 VND, souvenirs from 50,000 VND, and accessories from 10,000 VND to 30,000 VND.
