Lam Son Swimming Pool

It is a large, tranquil, and inexpensive public pool. The primary pool is placed outside (on the rooftop of an all-night karaoke bar). In addition to the 50-metre Olympic-sized pool, there is a 25-metre pool and a shallow children’s pool on the ground floor. There is no seating surrounding the main pool, but there is ample room to lay out a blanket and read a book.

The water in the Olympic pool is clean, and there are at least six lanes, one of which is exclusively for women. The water in the smaller pools can become murky on weekends, when large groups of children spend hours playing in the water. Even on the weekends, Lam Son’s pools are rather tranquil during the weekdays. Come near the conclusion of the morning session or the start of the afternoon session, and you will likely have the place to yourself.
