In 2010, when La Siesta Spa opened its doors, spa services in Vietnam lacked standardization. The bulk of spas were typically tiny businesses. Many viewed working in the sector as a means to an end, i.e., as a way to generate money rather than to further their careers. With the development of tourism, investors viewed the spa industry as little more than a lucrative commercial opportunity.

La Siesta Spa’s initial goal was to offer hotel guests of the Elegance Hospitality Group (EHG) an exceptionally convenient service. The spa service is a component of EHG’s flawless offering. As a member of this hospitality company, the spa was motivated not by revenue and profit but by the desire to exceed every guest’s wellness service expectations. Instead of devoting resources to marketing and advertising gimmicks, the spa’s administration concentrates on enhancing operations, polishing every aspect, and investing in training, staff development, and human resources. The best customer service is produced by a group of individuals who are enthusiastic, driven, and joyful. Consequently, caring for each employee is one of La Siesta Spa’s brand values and top priority.

The La Siesta Spa enterprise gradually outgrew its position as a hotel guest spa. The number of non-EHG customers who did not stay at any EHG facility was expanding rapidly. Even though the group had five spa branches across five properties at the end of 2017, bringing spa amenities to a greater number of guests’ doorsteps, more than half of the 3,600 spa consumers for that year came from outside EHG – a percentage that is currently climbing.

It became immediately apparent that La Siesta Spa had become a pioneer in the spa and wellness business. Numerous spas in the vicinity attempted to adopt some of our qualities and features. For instance, our comprehensive client pre-treatment form, the singing bowl ritual before and after therapy, and a variety of ways in which we implement professional procedures. We are unconcerned by the proliferation of spas attempting to imitate our own. On the contrary, competition only strengthens us. It motivates us to be more inventive as we continue to position ourselves as a pioneer in Vietnam’s spa business. We are pleased to be:

Realizing our opportunity to be a pioneer and realizing our obligation to the industry have helped our spa grow in strength and self-assurance. Thus, the time has come for us to demonstrate greater independence. In this regard, we are pleased to announce the rebranding and renaming of our spa, formerly known as La Siesta Spa, as La Spa. This includes a new logo, a new logic, a new appearance, and an even stronger spa legacy.
