Hang Dau Street

Hang Dau Street is located on the eastern side of Hoan Kiem Lake, next to the Soldiers Monuments. It stretches 185 meters from Hang Be to the intersection of Dinh Tien Hoang street, close to Ba Kieu temple. During the colonial era, the street specialized in the sale of oil extracts used for medicinal and aromatic purposes. Today, Hang Dau is well-liked by Hanoians because of the abundance of shoes and sandals on display. From the beginning to the end of the street, there are numerous shoe stores.
