Diamond Plaza

Diamond Plaza is a luxury shopping center in District 1 in downtown Ho Chi Minh City. The complex consists of a 22-story structure and a 15-story building housing a retail mall, six movie lounges, restaurants, a café, and a hospital. In 1999, the facility was finished and opened for business. On the roof of the structure is a helicopter landing pad. Near this structure are the Saigon Notre Dame Basilica and the Saigon Central Post Office.

Behind the commercial center, a glass-fronted office structure rises into the sky. Diamond Plaza is situated in a lovely colonial-style building. There are many reasons to visit Diamond Plaza, not the least of which is the world-class shopping: the first floor is devoted to cosmetics, perfumes, watches, and jewelry, the second to men’s and women’s clothing, including formal attire and most major sporting brands, and the third to electronic goods and mobile phones.

Family entertainment choices, such as the enormous bowling alley and video arcade on the fourth story, and the Diamond Cinema on the thirteenth floor, are the other primary reason to visit Diamond Plaza.

Superbowl Vietnam is contemporary and colorful, with flashing lights and a loud clattering of bowling pins typical of bowling alleys worldwide. The 32 lanes of Diamond Superbowl mean that there is generally always an open lane, however weekend evenings may warrant a reservation. The price per hour of bowling varies dramatically between weekday mornings (200,000 VND) and weekends after 19:00 (400,000 VND) (375,000 VND).

Even though Diamond Cinema only has six screens, its location in District 1 of Ho Chi Minh makes it an extremely accessible option for anyone seeking for a movie theater. Movies are shown in English with Vietnamese subtitles, and costs are significantly lower than in the majority of western nations. A single ticket costs around 90,000 VND ($4 USD).
