Vincom Plaza Quang Trung is a compact shopping and entertainment center at 190 Quang Trung in Go Vap, Ho Chi Minh City. The mall is smaller than many Vincom properties, but its current tenant mix gives it a surprisingly clear identity: a large PUMA outlet, a food-heavy roster, a BHD Star cinema and a WinMart supermarket. It is most useful to residents and travelers staying in the northwestern part of the city, especially people who want sportswear bargains, a meal and a movie in one stop. Visitors focused on luxury fashion or extensive browsing will find broader choices elsewhere.
Vincom’s August 2026 update lists 23 tenants across eight categories and a floor area of about 17,780 square meters. That makes the center easy to cover without spending hours simply navigating. The operator itself suggests that a full circuit can be done in around an hour, although eating, cinema or outlet shopping can extend the visit considerably. This compactness is the mall’s strongest practical advantage.
The most distinctive retail feature is PUMA Outlet, which Vincom says occupies more than 1,000 square meters. The outlet model means stock and discounts can change frequently, so the exact product range and savings cannot be guaranteed from one visit to the next. Shoppers who care about size availability or a specific model should arrive with flexible expectations. Beyond the outlet, the mall has a smaller selection of jewelry, beauty and practical retail than the city’s large regional malls.
Food takes an unusually large share of the center. Vincom’s current page says 14 of the 23 tenants are food and beverage businesses, covering barbecue, hotpot, seafood, Thai, Japanese-style meals, fast food, coffee and tea. That makes the mall useful even for visitors who are not serious shoppers. Groups can choose among several dining formats before or after a movie, and the concentrated layout keeps the evening simple.
BHD Star is the main entertainment anchor. Vincom lists eight screening rooms in the basement, with 2D and 3D formats and an Onyx Cinema LED installation referenced in the current mall guide. Cinema schedules can run later than the shopping center’s ordinary retail hours, so moviegoers should check the theater directly. For families and young visitors, the mall also lists gaming and photo-oriented tenants alongside the cinema.
WinMart covers the everyday supermarket role. This makes the mall practical for groceries and household needs as well as leisure. For a traveler on a longer stay, it can be an efficient place to buy snacks, toiletries or basic supplies while also having dinner. There is no general admission fee to enter the center; paid elements are the products, food, cinema and entertainment you choose.
Opening hours need a little care because the current official page contains an internal inconsistency. Its summary says 10:00–22:00 Monday through Friday and 09:30–22:00 on Saturday and Sunday. The day-by-day table at the top instead shows Friday opening at 09:30 and Sunday opening at 10:00. Rather than pretending one version is certainly correct, visitors planning to arrive right at opening on Friday or Sunday should verify directly. The closing time is consistently shown as 22:00.
Quang Trung Street is a major Go Vap corridor, and taxi or ride-hailing is the easiest approach for most visitors. Traffic can be slow during peak hours, so the trip from central Ho Chi Minh City may take longer than the distance suggests. The mall makes more sense when you are already in Go Vap or have a specific reason such as the outlet or cinema. It is not an efficient detour between downtown landmarks.
The current amenities page clearly lists free Wi-Fi but provides little additional public accessibility detail. A full step-free route, wheelchair-loan service and accessible parking procedure are not published on the page checked. Visitors with mobility requirements should contact the mall in advance. The center’s small size may reduce walking distances, but that is not the same as verified accessibility.
The current operator guide is unusually specific about what the mall does well. Food represents roughly three fifths of the tenant count, while the BHD Star complex has eight screening rooms and the PUMA Outlet occupies more than 1,000 square meters. That concentration means visitors can decide quickly whether the trip is worthwhile: go for outlet shopping, dining or cinema rather than expecting a huge all-category retail selection. For a compact mall, those anchors give the visit more purpose than the raw store count suggests.
Vincom Plaza Quang Trung succeeds because it is focused rather than comprehensive. It offers a strong outlet anchor, a dense food selection, cinema entertainment and a supermarket in a compact format. Travelers who want traditional markets, local design or premium department stores should choose other parts of the city. Those who are in Go Vap and want an easy meal-and-movie outing or a targeted sportswear shopping trip will understand the mall’s appeal quickly.
