Beaches in Da Nang

My Khe Beach

My Khe Beach is a 32-mile expanse of white sand located about 6 kilometers east of Da Nang. Named by American servicemen who visited during the Vietnam War, it is regarded as one of the most beautiful beaches in Vietnam. My Khe Beach is a popular location for sunbathing, fishing, snorkeling, jet-skiing, and surfing, as well as a number of upscale resorts and seafood restaurants. World Heritage Sites including Hoi An Ancient Town, Hue Imperial City, and Phong Nha Caves are all easily accessible by taxi or bus.

Non Nuoc Beach

Non Nuoc Beach is widely recognized as one of the world’s most beautiful beaches. There are many things to see and do at this beach, which has smooth beaches, a gently slope, clean water, and gentle waves. Sunbathing, jet-skiing, surfing, and eating local seafood cuisine are popular pastimes. Non Nuoc Beach encompasses 5 kilometers of Hoa Hai Ward’s shoreline and terminates at the base of the Marble Mountains. Before or after your day at the beach, you can also tour old pagodas, sacred caves, and craft towns in the mountain ranges.

Bac My An Beach

Bac My An Beach is renowned for its array of 5-star beach resorts and motels in Da Nang. It is 4 kilometers long and can accommodate over 5,000 beachgoers simultaneously. The resorts provide their guests with a private area for sunbathing and outdoor activities. However, if you are not planning to stay at a premium resort during your vacation, you can obtain public beach access. Surrounding Bac My An Beach are a number of hotels in the mid-range as well as eateries selling fresh seafood at reasonable prices. Here, kayaking, scuba diving, and windsurfing are among the most popular tourist activities.

Thanh Binh Beach

Thanh Binh Beach is the beach closest to Da Nang. It is a popular place for locals to relax in the evenings and on weekends due to its proximity. Along its 1 kilometre length, it consists primarily of hotels and seafood eateries of moderate quality. Thanh Binh Beach, like the majority of beaches in Da Nang, offers windsurfing, swimming, and boating. If you choose to sunbathe, there are also several beach chairs available for hire. The beach is located in Hai Chau District and is a 15-minute drive from Da Nang Airport.

Lang Co Beach

Lang Co Beach stretches for 10 kilometers between Truong Son Mountain and the southernmost point of Hai Van Pass. It is one of the most secluded beaches in Da Nang, as it is primarily used by locals and tourists attempting the twisting roads of Hai Van Pass. Here, you may enjoy a day of relaxation surrounded by stunning mountain vistas. Bach Ma National Park is located thirty kilometers west of Lang Co Beach. Nature enthusiasts can trek through the jungle’s pathways, observe uncommon creatures, and even abseil down Rhododendrun Falls.

Tien Sa Beach

At the westernmost point of the Son Tra Mountains is Tien Sa Beach. It consists primarily of fishing villages, yet its tranquil location makes it an excellent place to escape the masses. On most days, Son Tra Peninsula’s roads are devoid of traffic, making it simple to reach on a motorcycle. A portion of Tien Sa Beach is owned by the same-named hotel, hence there is a minor admission fee for non-guests. Before returning to Da Nang City after a day at the beach, make sure to visit Linh Ung Pagoda and Ban Co Peak.

Nam O Beach

Nam O Beach is 17 kilometers to the northwest of Da Nang. It provides environmental boat tours to Hoa Bac and Hoa Bang minority settlements. Between April and August, Nam O Beach is at its best. The waters are quiet and transparent enough for snorkeling and marine life observation. Between November and February, the weather conditions are great for surfers. You may also discover local eateries that specialize in seafood; we recommend the goi ca, which is cured herring wrapped in rice paper and served with dipping sauce, fresh herbs, and vegetables.

Xuan Thieu Beach

The Da Nang Airport is a 20-minute drive from Xuan Thieu Beach. A 15-kilometer-long path from the beach leads to the foot of Hai Van Pass, the highest mountain pass in Vietnam. This historical beach was used as a military zone by the United States in 1975, holding an airstrip and a military supply storage depot. There are already a number of seaside resorts, seafood restaurants, and bars in this area. It is also known as Red Beach because the reflection of the rising (or setting) sun makes the sea a bright shade of scarl

Bai Bac Beach

Part of the coastline of Bai Bac Beach is occupied by the magnificent InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort. Although it is a favorite weekend destination for residents, a portion of the beach is off-limits due to a turtle protection area.

Son Tra or Monkey Mountains are around four hours of strenuous trekking from Bai Bac Beach, and the verdant forest pathways are excellent for viewing unusual animals. There are rhesus macaques, long-tailed macaques, pygmy slow lorises, and red-shanked douc langurs on the mountain.
