Best time to visit Cham Island
The dry season, which lasts from February until the end of August, is the ideal time to explore Cham Island. Typhoons and heavy rains are the bare minimum during these months that make it possible to plan outside activities and transportation securely. There is a lot of sunshine, a bright sky, and pleasant waters there. All are great places to see historical structures, enjoy the beach, take pictures, and begin underwater explorations. Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, a swimsuit, a phone case, and cash when you visit. Additionally, the freshest and widest variety of seafoods are caught and are ready for consumption. Some seashore hamlets (like Bai Huong) are ideal if you want to stay somewhere quiet and away from busy cities.
It is advised to visit the Cham Islands during the serene summer months of June, July, and August if you intend to enjoy diving and snorkeling there. Tourists are advised to wear a T-shirt to protect themselves from jellyfish during this time of year, which also sees an increase in population near the coast.
If you are unable to travel to the Cham islands in the summer, you should also think about going in the spring (April, May, and June). But keep in mind that the sea might still get stormy occasionally in the Spring, so check the weather forecast before going to the islands. Winter and autumn should be avoided at all costs because there is a great risk of becoming stranded on the islands during the monsoon season. In fact, given how choppy the sea was during that era, getting there might also be impossible.
