Golden Fish Beach

This beach, called Golden Fish Beach (Gold Wheelhouse Beach), is located 3 km from the town of Sozopol on the way to Burgas. It is also known as the King’s Beach.

It is covered with fine fine sand. It is quite long and wide. The sea is shallow. It is surrounded by lush green vegetation. It is calm and quiet.

It is located within the camp “Zlatna ripka”, which has 150 camps and tents, several apartments, studios and bungalows.

On the beach there are three fine restaurants, showers, toilets and umbrellas and deck chairs can be rented. It is quite visited. The rescue service is on duty during the season.

Due to strong winds and wavy waves, it is a favorite destination for surfers. This beach offers many water sports: sailing, water skiing, jet skiing, paragliding, robolov, and more.

Fast food restaurants are nearby. The Ropotamo Nature Park is relatively close and abounds in untouched nature and wonderful landscapes.

Every year from September 1 to 10, the cultural festival “Apollonia” is held in Sozopol with various concerts, exhibitions and performances, and from June 30 to July 1, there is a “July celebration”.

Access to the beach is good. The beach can be reached by car. There is a car park nearby.
