Sofia Theatre is the city’s biggest municipal theatre. It was established in 1966.
It features a structure with multiple theater rooms – big and chamber, with areas for experimental theatrical activity – a Marble Lobby, and a summer theater stage. Sofia Theatre is a repertory theatre with a small cast of excellent performers of various generations, as well as technical and administrative personnel. Sofia Theatrical’s ensemble continues to blend respect for heritage with creative experimentation, resulting in a unique and engaging presentation of theatre art.
Supports a poster with around 20 titles. Most of them have English subtitles and may be seen by outsiders.
