Museum Of Archaeology
Description
The Museum of Archaeology is a one-room museum located in the heart of Saranda. There is an excavation of a mosaic floor, as well as photographs of additional archaeological sites and artifacts.
The mosaic pavement from the sixth century is the major feature of the museum, since it was erected particularly to safeguard it. The mosaic was unearthed during the construction of the nearby post office and is believed to have been the basilica’s floor.
