- Feed the Monkeys, Cao Dai Holy See. On the temple grounds, there are monkeys living in trees. Feeding the monkeys is a popular activity among both locals and visitors. They can be seen running about near the seating stadiums on both sides of the large square in front of the temple. The monkeys are fed peanuts, bananas, and everything else edible. Free.
- Walk the Rubber Plantation, Cao Dai Holy See. There are numerous rubber plantations in Tay Ninh, but you may visit one just inside the Holy See, eliminating the need to travel far. Rubber farms have been planted across the Holy See compound. You can walk around any of these fields to learn about the production of a rubber plantation in Tay Ninh. Free.
- Conquer Ba Den Peak, Ba Den Mountain. The 360-degree perspective of the surrounding countryside is the ultimate reward for anyone brave enough to climb to the peak of Ba Den Mountain. The top, at 986 meters above sea level, provides a nice day’s walk. Take a taxi or a motorbike taxi halfway up the mountain, close to the temple doors. The trek to the peak takes around two hours from there. Some climbing skills are required at the summit to reach the very peak. Bring plenty of water as well as sturdy hiking boots. Free.
