History of Trang Tien Plaza

The French government sold the Godard building to a group of multinational businesspeople in 1953. The name was changed to Grands Magasins Reunis.

The structure was renamed Department store in 1959 and became the property of the Vietnamese government. Textiles, clothing, bicycle accessories, literature, cosmetics, candies, pastries, etc., were the primary products.

The department store closed in 1993.

The structure was reconstructed and renamed Trang Tien Plaza Shopping Center in 2002.

In 2005, IMEX PAN Pacific invested in the structure, transforming it into a renowned modern retail complex that offers an extensive selection of merchandise, including luxury items.

The building was renovated in 2010 and is now a destination to purchase premium clothing and accessories from the world’s leading fashion companies.
