The Hanoi Police Museum has a spacious layout and a contemporary atmosphere. The printed information and messages are available in English, French, and Vietnamese. In the first room, you will discover the weapons, strategies, and commanders used to expel the “traitors,” i.e. the French. This chamber transports you to the period from 1946 to 1954. The following chamber is one of the most significant because it depicts the efforts of the police force during the Second Indochina War, often known as the Vietnam War, and how they dealt with the awful war-ravaged surroundings.
The room’s artifacts illustrate how the police fought against the CIA. This room dated from 1954 until 1975. The room denoting the years 1975 to 1986 displays the police force’s efforts to expose the forces that attempted to damage Vietnam’s social development at the time.
