Dam Trau Beach
Description
Con Dao Island is part of the archipelago located in the southern part of the country. It is about 230 km from the capital Ho Chi Minh.
It is a group of 16 islands that belong to Ba Ria Bung Tau province. This archipelago has about 200 km of coastline with soft, pristine white sand.
There are many magnificent beaches here, such as: Lo Voi, An Hai, Bai Suoi Nong, Bat Dat Doc, Dam Trau.
Con Dao Island has a historical background and is now undergoing a development phase. Dam Trau Beach is located near the airport.
It is located about 15 km from the capital of the island, Cin Dao. It is isolated and secluded. A sandy road leads to it. It is covered with fine orange sand.
On one part of the beach there are black rocks. The water is crystal clear, azure blue, with gentle waves.
It is surrounded by lush greenery. It has natural shade under the treetops. You can camp by the sea and go fishing.
The beach is very clean. It is suitable for couples and friends. It is moderately visited. Sports on the sand are represented.
The beach is decorated and organized. It has beach facilities. Next to the beach there are several shops and restaurants.
There are umbrellas and sunbeds on the beach. The best time to visit is during the dry season, from November to April. It is great for day trips.
The island can be reached by plane or by water. The beach can be reached by taxi or motorbike. There is a parking lot nearby. The nearby village can be reached on foot.
