Cau Giay Park
Description
Cau Giay Park is regarded as one of the most attractive green public parks in Hanoi by the locals because to its gorgeous artificial landscapes and linked amusement zone, which make it a great place to enjoy outdoor activities and escape the hustle and bustle of the city center.
On an area of 6,540 square meters that includes a large, crystal-clear lake in the center, Cau Giay park is divided into three main sections: a children’s playground, a sports area, and a plaza. It captures your attention at first glance due to how well-organized and lush it is. The park features a green tree system that purifies and cools the air and resembles a topiary garden.
Locals like jogging and running along the paths, either quickly enough for exercise or slowly enough to feel a tranquil life and fresh air in stark contrast to the chaos outside. In the wider area, locals gather in large groups to play sports such as aerobics, badminton, and Vietnamese shuttlecock kicking, or to meditate and practice taichi, which is especially popular among middle-aged and older individuals.
The sports area is well-equipped with modern tools and machines that allow you to exercise one or more body parts. Before sunrise, it is not uncommon to witness a large number of elderly individuals running, cycling, arm-spinning, performing push-ups, and crunches.
Children can safely play on the clean, soft artificial grass without fear of injury. They have a variety of activities and exercises to choose from, all of which are safe and beneficial for their physical development.
On one side, young children will find a seesaw, a slide, and a swing. On the opposite side, there are some exciting rides for older children. Adventurers can learn to climb a cargo net, go roller skating, and swing the rope, all of which sound amusing and enticing. There are also scheduled activities for children, such as book fairs, fishing, painting sculptures, tug-of-war, and traditional games.
Several stone chairs are positioned alongside the lake. It is a perfect area for young people to hang out, relax, speak, and perhaps date. The tranquil lake at dusk, accompanied by a gentle breeze, will let visitors relax and regain their strength after a day of exertion.
