Description

In Hanoi, there are numerous coffee shops that sell egg coffee, with Giang Coffee being the most well-known. The coffee served here is highly aromatic, velvety, and robust. It comprises of two egg creams and black coffee, which are precisely mixed to make a distinctive coffee.

Cafe Giang was established in 1940, when a competent chef named Giang of the Metropole Hotel sought a substitute for cow’s milk (a costly item at the time) to produce cappuccino. Egg coffee is a specialty that every tourist to Hanoi today must experience due to his inventiveness.
