Particularly in Ham Tien, most resorts are surrounded by eateries. The meal is always fresh, well-prepared, and delivered in an inviting and engaging atmosphere. Definitely leave your hotel and try one of the nearby restaurants. The oceanfront tourist/resort zone is a motorbike ride away from the best eateries, which are located outside of the area.
- Chillout Cafe, 155 Nguyen Dinh Chieu. 5pm-late. Chillout cafe – cozy and charming setting for businesses and couples. Plush couches, games, and excellent music. Amazing and already legendary Exotic frozen cocktails and the finest water pipe (shisha) in town. Also, don’t forget to sample pastas and burritos. Popularest dish.
- Deja Vu, Vietnam, 21 Nguyen Dinh Chieu, Phan Thiet, 01242136033. 11.00-24.00. The Deja Vu experience includes daily live music, a small shisha area on the roof, a charming garden with summer homes, and a playground for children. Inside the restaurant are also shown the works of co-owner Tuna, who was educated in the Soviet Union. Vietnamese, European, seafood, and unique meals are served. Every Wednesday, Deja Vu hosts various events, such as a Kung Fu demonstration and a Vietnamese culture night.
- Dong Vui Food Court, 246 Nguyễn Đình Chiểu, khu phố 3, Hàm Tiến, 0123 451 7858. Ex-pats and locals have joined forces to create Dong Vui Foodcourt the greatest place to have lunch or dinner. Over 15 distinct international cuisines, including Spanish, Portuguese, Indian, Thai, and, of course, Vietnamese. In addition, they provide the largest and most affordable range of craft beers in town.
- Ganesh Indian Restaurant, 55, 57 Nguyễn Đình Chiểu, Hàm Tiến, tp. Phan Thiết, Bình Thuận, Vietnam. Probably the only Indian restaurant that serves excellent Indian cuisine, such as naans and butter chicken. Potentially appropriate for people seeking a restaurant that does not serve pork.
- Joe’s – The Art Cafe, 86 Nguyen Dinh Chieu St, Ham Tien (Next to Backpackers and Full Moon Resort), +84(0)62-374-3447. 7am to after midnight. Joe’s is the only place that remains active during the off-season since live music is performed every night of the year. There are six of the loveliest bungalows in Ham Tien, as well as some affordable rooms, but the cafe, with its enormous canopies above the gardens and sofas, dominates the area. It retains the homey atmosphere of their former café and serves Western cuisine, from inexpensive sandwiches and breakfasts to steaks and fajitas. A two-group Italian espresso machine, Bobby Brewers coffees, a full ice cream bar, and a 24-hour convenience shop are available. The home-cut sandwiches (60,000 dong) are also excellent. There are several large televisions with HD service for sports and movies, as well as a free pool table and foosball table. The music and chairs complement the complimentary Wi-Fi. It’s a terrific place to find out what else is happening later, so many people head there to meet during happy hour. It is an ideal beach access point. - Lâm Tòng, 92 Nguyễn Đinh Chiêu, 062-3847598. It is directly on the beach next to Jibes and two doors down from Joe’s Cafe, shaded by palm trees. Even tables can be set up in the sand. There is a small cabin with hammocks hanging upon it (no hammocks, Feb 2016). Try one of the pancakes (bánh xèo) with condensed milk (sa c), the fried fish with lemon, and the fish sauce-fried chicken. The cheapest seafood in the area, squid or shrimp for only 55,000 VND. Do not expect the wait staff to be friendly.
- Mot Nang seafood restaurant, 122 Nguyen Dinh Chieu (193 Nguyen Dinh Chieu, Khu pho 2), +84928419988. 3pm-12am. Mot Nang seafood restaurant is a budget restaurant on Boke (a popular area with numerous seafood cafes and restaurants) that serves Vietnamese cuisine and seafood. The menu is inexpensive, but the service and food are of higher quality, and the atmosphere is clean and comfortable.
- Mui Ne Bo Ke, (go to the harbour view area of Mui Ne. There are numerous tiny seafood restaurants with spectacular views of Mui Ne, the harbor, and fishing boats. October through May Don’t miss this renowned location. The street is lined with local restaurants that grill fresh seafood as you watch. The prices are quite low. Here, scallops with an onion-and-garlic sauce are a must-order.
- Mui Ne Deli restaurant, 360 Nguyen Thong, Mui Ne, Phan Thiet, 0901111666. Mui Ne Deli is an excellent Vietnamese seafood restaurant in Mui Ne. This restaurant’s proximity to the Fishermen Show theater makes it ideal for those who plan to watch Fishermen Show Mui Ne at 8 p.m.
- Pháp Duyên vegetarian restaurant, 262 Nguyễn Đình Chiểu, khu phố 3, Hàm Tiến, +84 90 774 66 39. 7.30am-9pm. Typical Vietnamese restaurant offering a vast selection of authentic vegetarian dishes and excellent value. About 25k VND for entrées, 20k VND for juices, and 10k VND for beer. If you are seeking for a vegetarian restaurant that serves more than just western cuisine, you should try this establishment.
- Pho Bo and sandwiches, (west of Pogo). Since Joe’s no longer serves food in the middle of the night, this is the only location to eat in the middle of the night. A modest pavilion can be found on the right when traveling east just past Dragon Beach. They prepare delicious chicken and scrambled egg sandwiches (30,000 VND). Additionally, you can get Pho Bo here.
- Santimatti pizzeria, 83 Nguyen Dinh Chieu St. The finest pizzas in the city. The greatest of Italian cuisine, including pizzas, pastas, salads, and wine. The place is attractive and has a pleasant vibe. Locals and long-term guests receive a 10% discount; membership cards are required. Expect quick and pleasant service as the proprietor is frequently present.
- Sindbad kebab, (opposite Pogo club). Here you may find excellent beef/chicken/vegetable kebabs, shawarma, and tsasiki. Open until 1am.
- Source Kiteboarding & Lodge (Source), 148 Huynh Thuc Khang (in the fishing village), 002523848883. All day. Source Lodge’s restaurant patio, where some of the best pizzas, burgers, and beverages in Mui Ne are served, offers a breathtaking view of the sunset.
