Nightlife in Hue

Hue is a city popular for its historic sites, religious shrines and the fact that it has more than 1000 unique dishes with royal origin. This place also boasts of international nightlife at its best. Hue Walking Street

Hue City has grown much louder and more vibrant since the establishment of Hue’s walking street. This is a great place for both international and domestic tourists to enjoy delicious street foods in Hue, buy unique souvenirs, see traditional handicrafts displays or just have some fun at night. The pedestrian zone has retained its old-fashioned and classical ornaments as well as products.

The Trang Tieng Bridge is a good place to visit during the night in Hue city due to its adjacency with the one-kilometer-long Hue Pedestrian strip.

Those who love food are advised not to ignore the many street food vendors, restaurants, and food outlets on this pedestrian area; it will definitely meet their tastes. Therefore do not forget eating Banh Beo cake, Zona cake, mussel rice (Com Hen Song Huong), sweet soup and other peasant foods. Generally speaking, at first sight it seems that this street bears resemblance to Hoi An’s Old Quarter in ancient town of Hoi An.

Western Area in Hue

Hue lights up in its Western part, which is found right in the city center with three major highways: Pham Ngu Lao, Chu Van An and Vo Thi Sau Street. Since September 29th, 2018 it has been a fun district that killed perception of an earlier sleeping beauty.

The West stretches over nearly one kilometre and provides visitors with numerous cultural sites, delicious local cuisine and dynamic entertainments. There are lines of stands where unique items are sold. Enjoying music is among other things a way to buy souvenirs, have small parties with friends and drink beer.

Nguyen Dinh Chieu Walking Street is Hue’s busiest nightlife spot because it is right at the center of town on the banks of Perfume River.

Nguyen Dinh Chieu Walking Street offers numerous entertainment options to pedestrians. Moreover, tourists can take a boat trip along the Perfume River or try some of Hue’s dishes including Hue cakes made of water ferns, skewers made with lemongrass, dessert from lotus seeds and beef noodle soup.

Several times a week, young people will hold concerts featuring acoustic shows and street dance that will attract many students from nearby schools. Also this walkway is full with flash mobs and street painting activities that go on throughout the day and night.
