Best time to visit Hoi An

Hoi An experiences two distinct seasons based on its humid tropical environment of southern Hai Van region, dry and wet.

The rainy season starts in September and extends to the end of January. In contrast with the north of Vietnam like Hanoi, Halong Bay, Sapa etc., Hoi An has an average temperature of 20 degrees throughout winter.

From February to August is when there is hardly any rain as well as high temperatures. But because it is close to the sea, the climate here isn’t as scorching hot as other parts of Vietnam.

Hoi An in October
