Yoga Pod Thao Dien in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Book Yoga Pod Thao Dien as a traveler with current drop-in pricing, split studio hours, booking rules, facilities and 2026 schedule advice.

Yoga Pod Thao Dien is a garden-set yoga studio at 28 Thao Dien in eastern Ho Chi Minh City, tucked inside Family Garden rather than facing the main street. Founded in 2017, the purpose-built studio uses floor-to-ceiling glass and an open relationship with the surrounding trees and garden. It is especially convenient for travelers because public classes can be booked as drop-ins, while regular members have class passes and monthly packages. The studio welcomes beginners and experienced practitioners across a range of styles. The main limitation is that classes run to a schedule rather than continuously, and late entry is not permitted once a session has been underway for more than five minutes.

The current operator site confirms 28 Thao Dien and gives detailed directions: follow the path into Family Garden and cross a wooden bridge to reach the studio. The address now falls under An Khanh/Ho Chi Minh City administrative wording in some current listings, though Yoga Pod still uses the familiar Thao Dien/District 2 identity in its branding. The studio’s August–September 2026 social activity confirms an active monthly class schedule and current National Day closure/reopening notice.

Yoga Pod offers a wide range of class styles and teachers rather than one fixed sequence. Current local listings highlight Hatha, Hatha Flow and Vinyasa, while the studio’s own materials describe a broad schedule suited to different levels. The setting itself is part of the appeal: garden views, natural airflow and a quieter atmosphere than a conventional gym studio. Travelers should still choose a class appropriate to their experience rather than selecting only by time.

Drop-in access is explicitly supported. The current memberships page lists a 350,000 VND drop-in price and a first-timer two-class trial pass at 400,000 VND valid for one week. Five-, ten-, twenty- and fifty-class passes are also published, while private classes start from a higher rate. Prices can change, but these current values show that a short-stay visitor does not need to buy a long membership. Advance payment is required to confirm a drop-in.

Booking rules matter. Yoga Pod currently requires at least three hours’ notice for a cancellation or reschedule to return class credit, while private classes need longer notice. Students should arrive 10–15 minutes early; late entry is not permitted more than five minutes after class starts. Mobile phones are not allowed during class. Current class guidelines also say public classes are not suitable for pregnant women or children under 14, who should use more appropriate private or specialized options.

The studio provides a substantial equipment and facility set. The operator lists mats, blocks, straps, bolsters and cushions, along with drinking water, lockers, showers and changing rooms. This is helpful for travelers who do not want to carry a yoga mat. The current facilities page describes the Thao Dien studio as open in split morning and afternoon/evening blocks, reflecting the class timetable.

Official pages are internally inconsistent on some general opening hours. The current Vietnamese contact page lists Monday 07:30–14:00 and 16:00–21:00; Tuesday/Thursday 07:00–14:00 and 15:00–21:00; Wednesday 06:00–14:00 and 16:00–21:00; Friday to 20:00; and shorter weekend blocks. Another current facilities page closes at 20:00 on several weekdays and starts Monday at 06:00. Because actual classes are released monthly and booked by session, the class schedule should take priority over generic building hours.

Thao Dien is easy to reach by taxi or ride-hailing from central Ho Chi Minh City. Metro Line 1 also improves access to the eastern city, though the final connection to Family Garden should be checked for the day. The studio is hidden at the back of a garden complex, so allow extra minutes to find it on a first visit. The current contact page provides WhatsApp for quick directions.

A typical class takes around one hour, and Villa Song’s current Yoga Pod partnership lists a one-hour session length. Add 15 minutes before class for arrival and setup. The studio rents space for private classes and events as well, but those uses are separate from the public class schedule.

Yoga Pod’s current 2026 policy update also moved schedule publication from week-by-week releases to a full monthly calendar, making it easier for travelers to book ahead. The studio continues to use class credits and waitlists, so a visible space can disappear quickly at popular times. A confirmed drop-in is therefore more reliable than simply arriving during the building’s published opening block.

Accessibility is not fully documented. The path through Family Garden and wooden-bridge approach may present challenges for some wheelchair users, and the operator does not publish a formal step-free route. Contact the studio before booking if mobility access is essential.

Yoga Pod is one of the easiest current yoga options for a short-stay visitor in Thao Dien because drop-ins are explicitly welcomed, equipment is supplied and the studio publishes active 2026 schedules. Use the 28 Thao Dien route, book the exact class rather than relying only on building hours, arrive early and note the public-class restrictions for pregnancy and children under 14.
