Ukiyo Spa in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Visit Ukiyo Spa for massage, facials, body scrubs and hair care, with current Dinh Tien Hoang location, booking rules and hours caveat.

Ukiyo Spa is a modern massage, facial, body-scrub and hair-care spa at 165–167 Dinh Tien Hoang in central Ho Chi Minh City. It operates inside the NP Collective ecosystem alongside beauty and training businesses, giving the location a broader beauty-and-wellness profile than a traditional massage-only shop. The spa is best suited to visitors who want a clean, appointment-led treatment with current online booking, consultation procedures and a wide menu that includes body massage, scrubs, facials and scalp or hair care. The main planning issue is opening-hour variation between current booking and social profiles, so appointments should be confirmed rather than inferred from one directory.

The official Ukiyo website continues to publish the 165–167 Dinh Tien Hoang address and an active WhatsApp contact. NP Collective, which operates from the same address, explicitly lists Ukiyo Spa as one of the brands in the building. Current August 2026 activity also shows Ukiyo operating at this location, including a National Day closure notice for 2 September 2026 and reopening on 3 September. That recent dated activity strongly confirms current status.

Ukiyo’s service mix is clearly documented on its own site. Body massage includes a signature oil treatment, neck-and-shoulder massage, foot massage and anti-cellulite massage. Separate service sections cover body scrubs, facials and hair care. The hair-care page describes add-ons such as scalp exfoliation, ginger-based care and deep conditioning. These are commercial spa and beauty services; health or hair-growth claims in marketing should not be treated as medical evidence.

The spa also offers combination experiences. An ongoing “Serenity Duo” package combines sauna and steam, fruit body scrub and massage. The operator’s FAQ confirms that massage and facial clients can use supplied spa clothing, disposable underwear, toiletries, hairbrushes and hairdryers. That makes the venue easy for travelers who arrive directly from sightseeing and do not want to carry special spa items.

Booking procedures are unusually detailed. Ukiyo recommends scheduling in advance and asks clients to arrive about 15 minutes early to complete a consultation form. Appointments are held for only a limited period after the scheduled time, and groups of three or more require a deposit. The operator also has a 24-hour confirmation policy: unconfirmed reservations can be released. These rules matter for travelers whose phone or messaging access changes while abroad.

The FAQ also states that guests must be at least 16 for spa treatments unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. The venue is pet-friendly but asks clients with allergies or discomfort around animals to notify the team in advance. Massage uses the spa’s own approved oils rather than customer-supplied products, and guests with allergies or sensitivities are told to disclose them. These current policies make the spa more predictable than venues with only a map listing.

Treatment-room privacy should be understood correctly. The operator says massage and facial beds are in a shared treatment space separated by curtains, while a private massage room can be requested subject to availability and is designated for male guests and couples. Anyone who expects a completely enclosed room should request it before arrival rather than assuming every treatment is private.

Current opening hours differ between booking surfaces. Fresha’s live NP Brows & Lashes x Ukiyo Spa profile lists 09:00–19:00 Monday through Saturday and Sunday closed. A current August 2026 business profile shows 09:30–18:30 Monday through Saturday and omits Sunday. The difference is modest but real. The sidebar uses the Fresha schedule because it is the active booking platform linked from the official website, while the conflict is preserved in the note.

The location is central and convenient, although the operator notes that guests may be dropped on the opposite side of Dinh Tien Hoang and can call for help crossing. Taxi, Grab and walking from nearby Da Kao or Tan Dinh hotels are practical. A normal visit may take one to two hours, with longer combinations requiring more time. Arrive 15 minutes early as requested.

Accessibility details are incomplete. The official FAQ is thorough on booking, privacy, allergies and age, but it does not publish a wheelchair route or adapted-restroom information. Contact the spa if step-free access is required.

Ukiyo Spa is a strong current choice for visitors who value clear policies, online booking and a mixed massage-beauty menu. Use 165–167 Dinh Tien Hoang, reserve in advance, respond to the confirmation message and arrive early for consultation. Because current booking profiles differ slightly on daily hours, rely on the confirmed appointment rather than the directory alone.

The operator’s policy that groups of three or more pay a deposit is particularly relevant for families or friends trying to book together. A solo traveler or couple may face simpler booking terms, but every reservation still depends on confirmation. Travelers without stable roaming access should keep WhatsApp or email available because the spa sends reminders before the appointment and can release an unconfirmed slot.
