Zapaden Park
Description
Western Park is one of Sofia’s larger parks, although owing to its location, it is not widely known among visitors.
A large, mountainous park with woodland walks overlooking the city and, in season, picnic places and flower gardens.
The park is large and wide, and it even inspired the name of a neighboring neighborhood (Zapaden park which means Western Park).
