Sofia Ring Mall is a retail center located in Sofia, Bulgaria. It first opened its doors on November 6, 2014. Sofia Ring Mall is a new generation retail mall with 200 shops representing over 400 brands, 100 of which are totally new to the Bulgarian market. The shopping center features the country’s largest indoor amusement center, the largest indoor karting track with an area of 7,500 m2 (81,000 sq ft), the largest department store with an area of 6,500 m2 (70,000 sq ft), a free parking lot with 3,500 parking spaces, and a VIP parking lot with 100 spaces.
The Sofia Ring Development will cost more than 300 million euros in total. The Greek businesses Fourlis Group, which administers IKEA’s franchising in Bulgaria, and Danaos Group, which specializes in the shipping sector, made the investment. It will be Bulgaria’s biggest mixed-use project, covering an area of 400,000 m2 (4,300,000 sq ft), with the mall and its neighboring IKEA store occupying 100,000 m2 (1,100,000 sq ft), all near the southern arc of the Sofia ring road. The Sofia Metro is anticipated to have a nearby Metro station in the near future.
