In the concrete jungle, the Holy Trinity Park is a priceless jewel. It’s on Konstantin Velichkov Boulevard, not far from Russian Monument Square.
The park is not as huge as the neighbouring West Park, but what it lacks in size it makes up for in mood. The park is home to a wide range of trees and plants that provide plenty of shade during the hot summer months. There is also a lovely man-made lake with a little island in the center. The lake is surrounded by an Orthodox church of the same name. At one end of the park, there is a large playground designed like a pirate ship, which will undoubtedly entice even grownups to play and pretend to be salty mariners. A nice café is located just beside the playground.
In conclusion, Holy Trinity Park is a wonderful spot to spend a beautiful Sunday afternoon.
