Chilli Hills Farm is the first official chilli farm in Bulgaria.

Chilli Hills started as a trademark in early 2014 and has since operated as a boutique farm that grows rare types of chillies from around the world. Within a few hours after picking them, they are processed and preserved in the form of hot sauces, pastes, marinades and many other heterogeneous products..

The main goal of Chilli Hills is to contribute to the development of hot culture in Bulgaria and also to give a native quality chilli product on the world hot market.

All Chilli Hills products are 100% natural, free of preservatives, colorants and thickeners.

The product range exceeds 50 different items and includes interesting products such as hot craft beer, hot brandy, hot gourmet salt, hot olive oil and many others, and of course the hottest peppers in the world.

The own line “Balkan Hot Sauce” imposes the first artisanal hot sauce in Bulgaria, which is also officially the hottest product in the country.

The products can be found in over 350 sites in the country, both in reputable supermarkets, as well as in shops for all-natural foods and products, quality delicatessen shops, a number of gourmet restaurants and selected bazaars and exhibitions. Since the summer of 2017, the Chile Hills assortment is now available in over 13 countries outside the country, and their number is growing steadily.

In 2017 we opened our first company store in Sofia, and this was also the first specialized shop for hot products in Bulgaria. In 2018 followed a company store in the cultural district of Kapana, Plovdiv, and this was the beginning of a new product category – franchise..

In November 2020, despite the epidemic environment, we opened the first franchise company store outside the country, namely in Vilnius, Lithuania.

Chilli Hills is a boutique family farm in the Vitosha mountains of Bulgaria which specialises in the cultivation of domestic and international strains of chilli pepper.

Launching as a brand in 2014, their uniquely devoted approach to product quality and establishing new tastes saw Chilli Hills rapidly become a stamp of quality and the brand quickly established itself as a leader in the chilli product market in Bulgaria.

The product range of the brand so far exceeds 40 different variations, from our famous Balkan Hot Sauces to craft chilli beer, chilli-infused brandy, gourmet chilli salts, chilli-infused oils and many others, including of course the hottest peppers in the world.

The brand’s signature line ‘Balkan Hot Sauce’ includes what is officially the hottest craft chilli sauce in Bulgaria.

All Chilli Hills products are 100% natural, and are free from preservatives, thickeners and colourants. This season, the family farm has expanded operations and we are now also farming chilli peppers on a second site outside of Kokalyane.

Over 50 different types of chilli peppers from all over the world are now growing over a combined 20-hectare area.

Chilli Hills expansion now also includes a brand new production workshop and sampling laboratory.

The products of this native boutique brand can be found throughout the national network of natural food stores, finer delicatessens, many contemporary restaurants, gourmet festivals, farmers markets, and exhibitions.

The summer of 2017, the brand began marketing and distribution outside of Bulgaria.
