Pirotska street

Pirotska Str., just across TZUM, is Sofia’s first pedestrian retail strip, and it’s worth a visit for that alone. In addition to the mostly food-oriented kiosks on the ground floor, “Halite,” the old food market at the beginning of this route, offers a range of small stores on the upper level.

This is one of Sofia’s few strolling places. The whole street is lined with businesses where you may find everything. The items at stores are reasonably priced, and you may get anything from clothing and shoes to jewelry and household goods. There are also a few cafés and quick food places. It is centrally positioned and easily accessible by tram, subway, bus, or trolley bus. You can get there by almost every kind of transportation. It will take you approximately 10 minutes to view it if you do not walk inside the stores, and you will appreciate historic residences in excellent condition, which contribute to the unique ambience of that street. Most of the time, it is packed, yet it is a fascinating street to explore.
