St. “Kiril and Methodius” belongs to Sofia St. Constantine and Helena and is situated in the centre of Sofia. Bulgarian Patriarchate – Metropolitan / Sofia Diocese of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church. Temple’s heavenly patrons are the holy equal brothers Cyril and Methodius, and it has developed a rich worship, spiritual-educational (catheter), anti-sectarian, social, and cultural activity with their prayer aid. According to the inspiring example of St. Patrick’s Day, Brothers clergy at St. Cyril and Methodius” unwavering sacred service before the throne of God, and on the death of the temple predecessor there are numerous units and schools that make it one of the most ingesting outbreaks of orthodox faith, self-knowledge, fellowship, and theology in the BPC today.

The temple that was constructed is a really spectacular structure. The projected construction is a church with a three-nave building, a central dome, and vaults over the side ships, supported by eight columns arranged in four pairs with three wall apses from the east.

Richly ornamented street façade with a central entrance flanked by two bell towers. It has two side doors from the south and north, similar to St. Constantine and Helena. The Altar has a separate five-step entry on the south side. The spatial structure of the building is a tight volume built around the central dome. Two bell towers with prismatic octagonal bodies and domes rise from the west.

Two rows of enormous masonry columns divide the inner area into three ships. A continuous gallery with a modest wooden railing wraps around the whole north, west, and south wall. The huge walls and columns of the building carry the arch coverings above the ships. Pitched roofs and hemispheric domes are common architectural features.

The church’s foundations are stone, and the huge walls are composed of brick stone and mortar. A granite block plinth extends around 160 cm from the yard level. The roof is tiled, and the domes are tin stening. The stone foundations were drilled into the earth. The floor is about 50 cm above ground level. The temple’s length is around 30 meters, and its breadth is approximately 20 meters. The dome’s height is about 15 meters, while the dome itself is 6 meters long. The galleries are 20 feet in height. The walls of the vaults are 90 cm thick, while the windows are 60 cm thick polysarcia. The windows are large, straight, and arched from the top.

The city’ Altar has three St. Constantine and Helena on St. Patrick’s Day. The throne, although initially just the middle, which is also the biggest, is lighted. The south tower-bell tower houses the bell, and the steps going to it lead to the galleries. On the south, the north tower-belfry is symmetrical, and there are separate chambers for baptism and storage.
