Nightlife in Schladming

Renowned for its ski resorts and winter sports, Schladming is a town in Austria’s Styria. Schladming does, however, also have a vibrant nightlife with a range of bars and clubs to fit various moods and tastes.

• Cult Club: Found on Salzburger Straße 201, Cult Club is among the most well-known nightclubs in Schladming. From 21:00 to 04:00, it is open Friday and Saturday. It has a big dance floor, a VIP lounge and a cocktail bar. Mostly house, electro, and R&B, the music is accompanied by sporadic live events and DJs. The club draws a young, vivacious audience that appreciates the contemporary and fashionable setting. Usually costing five euros, the entrance fee is low compared to the reasonably expensive drinks. One excellent venue for fun and celebration with friends is Cult Club.
• Szenario: Situated on Parkgasse 693, Szenario is a small, friendly pub in Schladming. Wednesdays and Thursdays from 21:00 to 01:00; Friday and Saturday from 21:00 to 06:00. This is where you might play foosball, billiards, or darts, or sip a drink and catch-up with friends. The pub features a fireplace and wooden furniture in a rustic and cosy style. • La Porta: Another well-liked nightclub in Schladming, on Salzburgerstrange 242, is La Porta. It provides a varied and fascinating program of events and is open daily from 20:00 until 04:00. The club consists of three areas: the main room, where you may dance to the newest hits and classics; the lounge, where you can unwind and sip a drink; and the terrace, where you could enjoy the fresh air and mountain view. • Ramsauer Tenne: Ramsauer Tenne is a small, rustic pub in Ramsau am Dachstein, a village close to Schladming. Situated opposite the Rittisberg ski resort, it provides a lovely perspective of the mountains from its sun terrace. Made-from- scratch strudel and cakes, cool ice cream, a range of homemade schnaps and liquors, Styrian cider and Guinness on tap, and locally caught fish out of their smoker. Along with a billiard table, a dart board, a fireplace, the pub features a foosball table. Mostly rock and alternative, the music is accompanied by DJs and occasional live bands. • Tauernalm: Found at the Hochwurzen ski area, Tauernalm is a vibrant and festive alpine hut. Day and night it has a party vibe. It supplies music, drinks, and snacks. It is open daily from 9 a.m. until 4 am.
• Onkel Willy’s Hutte: Found at the Planai ski area, Onkel Willy’s Hutte is a laid-back and casual hut. Its terrace is big, it features a Schirmbar, and live music is available. It’s open daily from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.

• Hohenhaus Tenne: At the bottom of Planai sits an enormous and striking hut. With capacity of 2500 persons, it is the biggest après-ski hut in Europe. It boasts a stage, a restaurant, a disco, and several bars. It’s open daily from 11 a.m. to 4 a.m.
