Parking In Salzburg
Salzburg City has limited parking given the location of the city and the always rising traffic volume. Every parking lot in Salzburg’s downtown is just for short usage.
Park and Ride (P+R)
Year-round, four Park & Ride car parks with a total of 4,000 parking places are available in Salzburg City. The € 15 combination ticket includes parking as well as an all-day pass for usage of the whole public transportation system for up to five passengers.In July and August, the P+R Messe offers a cheap Combo Ticket for € 5, which is enhanced by the Altstadt-Shuttle offer!
Park-and-Ride facilities in the Salzburg city area:

- Salzburg Airport, trolleybus lines 2 and 10 and bus line 27

Other park-and-ride sites in the Salzburg area are serviced by the Salzburg S-Bahn, regional trains, and regional buses.
Short-Term Parking Zones
Monday – Friday: 9 a.m. – 7 p.m., parking fees are charged
Saturday: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., free parking – however, a parking disc is required
Maximum Parking Time: 3 hours
Signs at the entrance and exit to all parking facilities in Salzburg show the short-term parking zones. The blue roadway markers, which are not needed by law, are only there to assist you in finding potential parking places.
Mobile Parking
You may now use your cell phone to pay your parking costs to the City of Salzburg. Aside from the ease, it also has the added benefit of being precise to the minute. This service will incur small costs depending on your cell carrier. Parking fees for the impacted short-term parking zones remain unchanged. Parking tickets can also be paid for at neighboring coin machines.
Car park Messezentrum
The Messezentrum Salzburg and the Salzburgarena, both located immediately next to the exhibition center, are also year-round locations for a variety of special events.
You can park on-site if you are an attendee or guest. Individual event short-term parking rates are posted. You may use the Messezentrum Salzburg car park as well as Park & Ride services.
